Who is this game for?
ActivePuzzle is for both children aged 8+ and for curious people with young minds who want to build robots and learn how they work.

Is this game good for both girls and boys?
One important characteristic of ActivePuzzle is its being a gender-neutral game: the puzzle language makes everyone - girls, boys, young and adults - feel natural and confident while playing.

How do I start working with ActivePuzzle? is there a user guide?
Yes, along with the game you will get a guide, mostly visual, showing sample models that can be built using the game set you purchased, along with graphical explanation of each puzzle piece in the game.

In what language will the guide be?
The guide will be visual - the puzzle pieces, the robot models and the interaction - will all be demonstrated using images and graphics, so it’s basically language-neutral.

How do you program the robots? how did you program the dog to follow you?
Short answer: programming of the robots is made by the way you build them. Long answer: ActivePuzzle robots have no central processing unit, but rather work in a distributed manner based on the Braitenberg Vehicle concept: input pieces trigger adjacent output pieces, with the electronic value optionally being manipulated by logic pieces. So to make the dog follow the bone (or a hand) we connected the proximity sensor in the front (with the two eyes) to the two motors at the back, and set the direction switch in each of the motors so as to make the robot move forward when the proximity “sees” something.

What's the difference between the 16-kit and the 22-kit?
The 22-piece kit includes all the pieces of the 16-piece kit plus: * Extra motor piece, extra proximity sensor and extra battery piece * 3 new pieces: Arduino, conductor and A2D * Extra wheel, extra propeller Thee 22-kit extra pieces let you build more advanced robots such as fire alarm robot and maze runner robot, and multi-robots – e.g. building two robots which interact with each other.

What does the 1$ MyBlock pledge mean?
It means you can suggest adding of a new puzzle piece to the game, and if it’s accepted by our R&D team we will name that new piece after you! You can simply write your suggestion in the comments, or leave it for later and we’ll contact you to get the details of your idea.
Before you write you suggestion, please take a look at the already planned puzzle pieces:
Accelerometer Arduino-cpu Speaker Capacitive sensor Microphone Pressure sensor PIR (motion sensor) Solar panel Timer MakeyMakey (Keyboard like PC control) Servo motor RBG LED Fork (implements the “if” conditional instruction) XOR Bluetooth BLE

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
