Dear Backers
We didn’t post updates for a while as we are fully busy with the assembly and fulfillment of your ActivePuzzle kits. The kits were planned to be shipped these days, but things took a little longer than we planned, due to bugs we had in the last electronic assembly. The kits will be shipped in about two weeks, on the last week of July, so expect to receive them on first half of August. We apologize for the delay and hope this final phase will go smoothly.
We are locking orders on Friday this week, so for those who didn’t switch their add-on payments to Paypal yet – please complete that by Friday or your add-on orders will be dropped. Dear Backers
First, For those of you who didn’t complete the survey or didn’t switch their add-on payments to Paypal – please do so ASAP, as we need to lock the orders and start organizing the packing & shipments.
We are in the process of production and packing and we wanted to let you know about two issues:
1) We had many backers ordering the Lego brick adapters (over 1,000 adapters in total!) and that’s becoming non-feasible to produce using 3D printing. As a result, we have decided to produce it using plastic injection, which will take longer than planned – currently a mold is being manufactured and when it’s ready the bricks will be injected. On the bright side, the brick adapter parts will be of a much better quality and more durable.
2) Due to issues our test users had with the micro USB contact, we switched to USB type C, which is much more durable and with many more options, and more importantly – it is rotationally symmetrical, so you don’t have to worry about inserting it in the wrong direction.
The consequences of the above issues are 3 to 4 weeks delay in the shipment of your ActivePuzzle kits towards mid July – we are truly apologize for the delay and promise to push hard to shorten it. We know you were expecting to see the kits soon, and we'll do our best to bring it to you soon as possible.

Dear Backers
As you already know we have started a survey few days ago to collect your shipment details and your product customization preferences. It will take few more days until everyone completes the survey. Meantime, we work around the clock on the production of your ActivePuzzle kits: lots of plastics (nearly 30,000 pcs), about 25,000 PCBs, thousands of motors, thousands of sensors of all kinds, and above 100,000 connectors. It’s really exciting for us to be part of this process, but at the same time we try to be with eyes wide open and to do testing anywhere and anytime we can.
Also, we wanted to let you know that our R&D team has completed the development of several new ActivePuzzle blocks, including Microphone, Condition (“if”), XOR gate, Pushbutton and Vibration sensor. Some of the new blocks offered by backers during the campaign (Flip-flop, Leak detector, and more) are still under development and are expected to be ready for testing in few weeks. All the new blocks are expected to be ready for mass production in two months.
We will keep you posted on how the production and fulfillment process are going.

Dear Backers
How excited are you to get soon your ActivePuzzle kits? We are working hard to complete the production on time and with high quality.
We do now final tests on a test batch to find all possible problems and bugs before the mass production. This step is necessary to approve the electronics and plastic improvements we made during the campaign. One such improvement was to the plastic “fingers” holding the connectors which got bent and broken when some users used extra power to pull one piece from another. So we strengthened these fingers by adding support ribs in the plastic mold. Same goes for the plastic "walls" - we added support ribs to make them super strong.
We now have a great support from Arrow Electronics after ActivePuzzle has become Arrow Certified Technology approved (As part of ActivePuzzle being on Indiegogo InDemand). This gives us their special engineering support in electronics design and electronic components ordering, as well as significant discounts.
The production is expected to complete on the end of May. The shipment preparing process is expected to take several more days, so expect to receive your ActivePuzzle game kits somewhere between mid-June to end of June, depending on your Geo location. We will run a survey next week to let you customize your ActivePuzzle products and to set your shipping details.

Dear backers
Just wanted to inform you that we are working continuously towards completing the production line: plastic injection process, PCB manufacturing, electronic parts ordering, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly and packaging. Things look good and we're on schedule.
Once Kickstarter completes the money collecting process (it takes about two weeks from the end of the campaign) we will send you surveys for filling your shipping address details and for customizing your orders.
As requested by many backers, though we didn’t hit the stretched goal, we will offer a 3D printing of the newly designed Lego bricks adapter for those who do not have access to a 3D printer.
And lastly, we want to say again that we wouldn’t get here without you, so thank you all for your great support!
