ActivePuzzle Documentation
over 6 years ago – Wed, Oct 02, 2019 at 05:20:10 PM

Dear Backers

We recently added several guide documents to our website and wanted to make sure you all aware of that:

1. The User Guide is a quick start guide for ActivePuzzle, including 24 cool robot models (quite similar to the printed guide included in the kit, but with some updates and fixes). Following are the errors in the printed guide currently known:

2. The Online Course is a thorough guide for educators and for those who want to have a deeper understanding of the ActivePuzzle computational concepts and working principles.

3. The FAQ includes questions we frequently receive from users.

We plan to have a community section where you would be able to upload your robot models and share them with others. We are very excited to see what you (and your kids) will come up with!

Please let us know if you still feel that information is missing.

Dear Backers

We're so glad to inform you that your ActivePuzzle kits are on their way! We have shipped them today, and we will soon send you the shipment tracking number, with which you can check its status.

Thank you very much for your support and for your patience, we can’t wait to hear what you think about the game, and if it was ordered for children – how they liked building puzzle robots.

Production Update: No. 8
over 6 years ago – Sun, Sep 01, 2019 at 11:06:06 PM

Dear Backers

This weekend we were about to ship your ActivePuzzle kits to you when we encountered a nasty bug in the battery puzzle circuit. On one hand we were disappointed that we couldn’t ship the ready kits, but on the other we felt a relief that we didn’t ship the LiPo batteries with such a bug. We had to re-open all the packings and cases and remove the battery puzzles, then to disassemble the PCBs from plastics. The PCBs will be sent tomorrow to the PCB assembly factory, hopefully getting them back fixed in couple of days. As everything else is ready, soon as we get them, we will place them back in the kits and ship the packages to you.

We are sorry for this and we try to fix this problem fast as we can.

Attached are pictures of the packed kits from the packing factory:

We will notify you soon as we complete the fix and be ready to ship again.

Production Update - No. 7
over 6 years ago – Thu, Aug 15, 2019 at 01:53:59 AM

  Dear Backers

Puzzle no. 19 – the Analog-to-Digital - didn’t pass the final QA, and in some tests caused a short circuit, so we had to send it to re-manufacturing. All the rest of the puzzles were OK. We apologize for the delay but are working hard to speed up manufacturing of this last board. Yet, this issue causes a delay of about 10 days. As everything else seems OK, we assume the shipping will start by the end of the next week. We’re sorry again for that, and we know you’ve been expecting to receive your ActivePuzzle kits already. We apply a strict QA so that we can deliver the best product to you.

Fulfillment Update No. 1: About to Start Shipping
over 6 years ago – Wed, Aug 07, 2019 at 02:36:34 AM

  Dear Backers

Finally, after several delays we are about to start fulfillment of your ActivePuzzle game orders. We have locked the options to order new kits or add-ons, and we will be locking addresses in 48 hours, so please double check the address you set on our fulfillment platform (Backerkit) and verify that your address and phone are accurate: https://activepuzzle.backerkit.com/backer/review (you’ll also be notified through the system for last chance to update your address).

As we are shipping from Israel, we are going to use shipment hubs in several locations around the globe (e.g. US and Europe) to make the shipment more efficient and to try to save you custom tax payments. This might increase the shipment time a little but will be more efficient and will save you money.

Please let us know for any question.
